Good questions
What is aura photography?
It uses biofeedback sensors to capture the electromagnetic energy around your body, translated into a unique, colorful portrait. Every session includes a printed photo and a brief interpretation of your colors.
Where do sessions happen?
Both! Aura photography, sound frequency sessions, and sound baths happen in our studio at The Holding Space. For events, The Aura Booth comes to you — we serve the Greater Houston area, with on-site service included within 30 miles (a small travel fee may apply beyond that).
How does booking and payment work?
Sound experiences are booked from our open times and paid in full when you book. The $55 Aura Photography session is scheduled personally — send an inquiry and we'll text you to set a time. Private gatherings and events start with a request: once we approve your date, you'll get a secure payment link for a 50% deposit, and the balance is charged automatically to your saved card 7 days before your event.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel 7 or more days before your date. Within 7 days, your payment is credited toward a future booking within 3 months.
What do guests take home?
Every participant leaves with a printed aura photograph and a brief interpretation of the colors in their image — a one-of-a-kind keepsake and conversation piece.
Do I need to provide anything for an event?
Just space! We bring the Aura Booth, all equipment, and handle full setup and breakdown. You can also add a Sound Bath Experience led by Penelope of The Being Center — just ask for pricing.
How far in advance should I book?
Studio sessions can usually be scheduled within days. Private gatherings and events need at least 14 days' notice — for peak season, 4+ weeks is ideal.
